“Loyalty to the Resistance”: The enemy’s crimes will not deter our people from defending themselves and their land
Fady Mahouly
The “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc held its regular session today, headed by Representative Mohamed Raad and in the presence of its members, during which it deliberated on many parliamentary affairs and important issues, and issued a statement in which it saw that “the authority continues its downward and downward swing in the face of the arrogance and tyranny of the Israeli enemy, and its expansion of its path of aggression and destruction, backed by American cover and support, while it finds nothing but betting on weak diplomacy as a way to restore rights, expel the occupation, and preserve sovereignty.”
She added: “On the other hand, the resistance, with its Mujahideen heroes and its brave community, and with the support of many of the honorable and free people of the nation and its peoples, shows more mobilization and readiness to confront the aggression, in light of unprecedented steadfastness and steadfastness that expresses a unified will among the people of the nation to refuse to surrender to the enemy’s control or submit to its humiliating demands. Meanwhile, the brave resistance fighters continue to pursue the enemy’s forces, as their marches and maneuvers destroy his soldiers and vehicles, becoming a real nightmare.” It disturbs their leadership and brings them back to one conclusion drawn from the lessons and lessons of the past, that the land of Lebanon will make them taste the bitterness of humiliation and they will once again drink the cup of humiliation and defeat.
It continued: “In light of the escalation of Zionist aggressive barbarism against civilians, their homes, facilities and villages, amid the silence of a partner from the institutions of the international community, the bloc records the following:
- The crimes against humanity committed by the occupation army in the south and its targeting of civilians, including children and women, and its pursuit of them in villages and streets will not deter our people from adhering to their legitimate rights to defend themselves and their land, and they will continue their resistance to the enemy until they defeat and liberate our country completely. Rather, these crimes are an additional incentive to adhere to their choice of resistance and to possess all the strengths for liberation and protection, and in the face of this global silence and official neglect, Our reliance after God Almighty is on the arms of our heroic resistors and on the steadfastness of our proud people and their enormous sacrifices for the sake of their sacred cause.
- The Zionist enemy is escalating the described war crimes without stopping, as it targets educational institutions, schools, institutes, health and economic facilities in several southern regions, in flagrant violation of the Geneva Convention and all attached protocols, which should be the subject of international condemnation of the enemy, as well as the subject of international legal prosecution of the enemy’s leaders and their trial before the competent international courts for these crimes, in addition to the crimes of genocide against entire families.
- The direct negotiations conducted by the Authority team with the Zionist entity are accompanied by the enemy continuing to commit its crimes and trying to expand its occupation of our land in the south. This confirms once again the occupation’s exploitation of negotiation sessions and employing them for the benefit of its occupation, while the Authority makes one concession after another without even obtaining a ceasefire, which contributes to increasing the intensity of internal divisions and rifts in society and in the state institutions themselves. We renew our call to the authority to emerge from this shameful political path, and return to the essence of the Constitution and the Charter to strengthen internal unity and national understandings, and to draw up a national equation that fortifies Lebanon’s position and role in confronting aggression.”
The statement concluded: “The official handling of the displaced persons file is characterized by duplicity and confusion in its management, as well as an attempt to differentiate between one affected person and another according to regional and sectarian affiliations. This increases the gap between the authority and a large part of its people. Therefore, we call on the relevant authorities in the government to stop adopting this policy and from intentionally neglecting this file that is pressuring citizens, and to the necessity of removing it from political and sectarian calculations.”
